Dr. Loversky is a violist, educator, and performance-psychology specialist with over a decade of experience teaching students from their first sounds to the professional stage. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts, viola performance degree from Boston University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Rice University’s, Shepherd School of Music.

Her teaching blends rigorous technical foundations with emotional safety, helping students build resilient practice habits and sustainable relationships to their instrument.

In 2024, she founded Mock Auditions Inc., a Boston-based audition simulation program offering conservatory and pre-college musicians realistic audition experiences, targeted feedback, and performance coaching. She has worked with over 50 emerging artists in this program, with students advancing to finals in professional orchestras. Her research on evidence-based practice strategies informs her teaching approach, translating research into actionable plans for long-term growth.

An active orchestral and chamber musician, she performs with the Winston-Salem Symphony and at festivals across the U.S. and Europe. She has previously served on faculty at multiple Boston-area music programs such as Boston String Academy, Brookline Conservatory, and the Newman School. Her work is grounded in the belief that high-level performance and personal well-being are inseparable, integrating wellness into serious musical training.
